Celebrate July 4th with 104.7 The Cave in downtown Springfield! From 3 to 8 pm, patrons will be able to ice skate and play on inflatables from Amberg Entertainment in the Mediacom Ice Park, create art and crafts at The Creamery Arts Center, and enjoy the hands-on activities of the Discovery Center. The Springfield Cardinals will host the Midland Rockhounds at 5:08 pm at Hammons Field and then “Members Only” will be the featured headliner band after the game. The region’s largest fireworks show will begin at Hammons Field at 9:45 pm.
A “Fireworks at the Field” ticket will provide admission to all activities and include a general admission ticket to the baseball game. Tickets will be available for advance purchase on June 18 for only $7 per person (children 5 and under are FREE) at all Springfield Price Cutter Supermarkets (including the downtown Bistro Market) and Hammons Field. The admission price the day of the event will be $8 per person. Veterans and active military personnel with an ID can purchase tickets at the gate for $5. Patrons who wish to upgrade their baseball game general admission ticket can receive a $3 discount on any other tickets at the Hammons Field box office based on availability.
