BATTLEFIELD MALL AND NEWK’S EXPRESS CAFÉ DESIGNATED AS
DONATION COLLECTION SITE TO AID THE DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS IN OKLAHOMA
 
Shoppers can drop-off essential items outside of Newk’s Express Café, Sat., May 25, 10 a.m-6 p.m.
 
WHAT: Battlefield Mall and Newk’s Express Café will be a vital Convoy of Hope donation collection site for much needed items to aid in disaster relief efforts for all those affected by the devastating storms in Moore, Oklahoma. Neighbors are encouraged to drop-off ready-to-eat foods such as crackers, pop-top canned fruits and meats and granola bars, as well as bottled water during select hours.  Select retailers, including Newk’s Express Café, will also donate 10 percent of their sales this Saturday to relief efforts. Additionally, the community is also invited to join Battlefield Mall in supporting Convoy of Hope by texting “CONVOY” to 50555 to make a $10 donation.
