1st Annual Chuck Duff Memorial Ride and Baseball Run

A memorial Ride to honor and remember Chuck Duff on Saturday October 18 with a route including Highways 160, H, and 125. Along with the memorial ride is a Baseball Run which consists of a scoresheet with 9 batters and a route with Home plate (start/finish) and three bases (stops). At each Base (stop) the rider spins a spinner to determine how the batter does. Plaques and cash are given to the 1st and 2nd places in runs and the most outs. First scoresheet is $20 with additional sheets $10. The event is open to 2, 3, and 4 wheeled vehicles. Registration and start will be at Elks Lodge #409, 2223 E Bennett, Springfield. Registration and first vehicle out will be at 10:00, last vehicle out is 12:00. Food will be $15 for a hamburger or hot dog, BBQ beans, chips, cookie and a soda. There will be a 50/50 and silent auction. Funds raised will be used to assist veterans in the local area. For questions call 417-207-2123
